Will Rike

After receiving his BSBA in Accounting and completing post-graduate work at Appalachian State University, Will began his career at Arthur Andersen in Greensboro, NC.  Will accumulated 6 years of public accounting experience between the international audit and assurance practices at Andersen, Grant Thornton and PricewaterhouseCoopers, serving clients in manufacturing, retail, telecom and aviation.  Will then spent 14 years in Raleigh, N.C. serving in various finance roles across industries including hospitality, financial services, insurance and agriculture. Through his experience in agriculture and his family and educational roots in the mountains of North Carolina, Will developed an interest in various land types and uses and aims to leverage his professional experience to bring value to landowners through conservation programs.

Will and his family (wife Kristin, and two sons Cason and Callan) now reside in Wilmington, NC and he joined Green Assets as Director of Finance in 2021.  Will serves as an integral resource to Green Assets and its clients; overseeing accounting, financial reporting, acquisitions, and other financial and fiduciary management. Outside of work, Will enjoys spending time in the North Carolina mountains and coast, as well as outdoor sports including golf and tennis.
