Jeffrey Houston

Director of Finance

Jeffrey Houston serves as Director of Finance at Green Assets, where he oversees financial strategy and operations across the company's portfolio of carbon offset projects. A native of Eastern North Carolina with roots in the automotive industry, Jeffrey earned his B.S.B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and his B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from East Carolina University in 2010, followed by a Master's in Accounting in 2017, during which he was a member of the Beta Alpha Psi accounting honor society. He began his career in automotive sales and finance before pursuing accounting, spending several years in tax before earning his CPA license in 2020 and transitioning into industry. Jeffrey joined Green Assets in July 2023, bringing a strong foundation in tax and financial strategy to the company's mission of advancing high-quality carbon offset projects. Outside the office, he enjoys live music, time at the beach, and the outdoors.
