Riley Whitlow

Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Riley grew up on Cedar Island, a small community down east in coastal North Carolina, where days were spent hunting, fishing, and working the water, an upbringing that instilled a deep connection to the land. That connection, along with lifelong family ties to Green Assets' late founder Hunter Parks, led her to forest carbon. Hunter first sparked Riley's interest in the industry and ultimately brought her to the company in 2021.

As the Marketing Communications Coordinator, Riley helps communicate the credibility and long-term value of forest carbon credits, translating complex carbon markets into accessible opportunities for landowners. She holds a BBA with a concentration in Marketing from NC State University, along with a minor in Public Health, which shapes her perspective on environmental stewardship & community well-being.

Riley still lives down east with her husband, daughter, and two dogs & still spends every spare moment outside, on the water or in the woods.
