Google funding $200 million wind project

Internet giant Google has invested $200 million in a huge Texas wind farm that will produce a significant amount of electricity for the surrounding community.

The project includes 70 wind turbines that will produce enough energy to power about 60,000 homes.

Combined with Google’s other renewable energy projects, the internet giant now generates roughly 2 gigawatts (GW) of electricity.

In addition to improving its clean energy usage, Google has also improved the efficiency of its server farms that consume massive amounts of electricity daily.
