Bailey Evans
Chief Executive Officer
As a career conservationist, Bailey has extensive experience in domestic and international conservation and environmental programs. His experience ranges from strategic planning, project design and management, financial management, and creative deal negotiation. At Green Assets, Bailey focuses on working with landowners to identify the best options for their properties and tailoring environmental projects to their long-term goals. Intimately familiar with carbon offset projects from property identification to monetization, Bailey brings a holistic view of opportunities to landowners.
He received a B.S. in International Business and Spanish from Appalachian State University in 2010, with certifications from the Universidad de Alacant (Alicante, Spain) and Universidad Veritas (San Jose, Costa Rica) in international business, marine biology, and tropical ecology. Bailey is fluent in Spanish and English. Growing up on a farm on the Cape Fear River in North Carolina, Bailey was lucky to spend the majority of his childhood outdoors, hunting and fishing, quickly became his passions, and his drive to find creative and sustainable ways to conserve nature his life’s work. Bailey also plays bluegrass banjo and guitar. He and his wife (Alex) live in Hampstead, North Carolina with their son Bailey and their dogs, Fleck and Huck.
