Kelsey Razvillas
Technical Support Forester
While growing up, Kelsey Razvillas lived across different parts of the country, eventually settling in the Appalachian region of West Virginia. Although she’d always had a love for the outdoors, this is where she decided to take it to the next level, and pursue a career oriented towards conservation. Razvillas enrolled at West Virginia University, where she went on to graduate with a B.S. in Forest Resource Management, with an emphasis in Urban Forestry and Arboriculture, as well as a minor in Sociology.
While working her way towards graduation, Kelsey was selected for the “Green Assets – WVU Professional Engagement & Development Program”. This program offers top students in the Division of Forestry and Natural Resources the opportunity to engage with Green Assets. After showcasing her experience and research related to forest sampling and GIS analysis, Razvillas accepted an internship position at Green Assets which she held during her junior and senior years at WVU.
Before graduating, Razvillas accepted a full-time position as a Technical Support Forester with Green Assets at the company’s Morgantown office. In her new role, Razvillas plays a critical role in the company’s needs related to forest carbon project development, implementation of forest activities, field inventory support, forest management activity monitoring and tracking, and data management.
