Travis Cooke
Business Development Manager
Travis Cooke joined Green Assets in 2024 and works closely with landowners and the Green Assets team to identify and develop high-quality carbon projects and explore opportunities in additional environmental markets. Prior to joining Green Assets, Travis spent 5 years at Resource Environmental Solutions where he led sales and business development efforts across Maryland and North Carolina. RES is a leading provider of turnkey ecological restoration projects, including stream & wetland mitigation banks and nutrient offsets. Travis began his career in Washington, DC, working for Senator Kay Hagan, and spent time at the Environmental Defense Fund and the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership. At TRCP, Travis developed policy strategies to protect and conserve America’s natural resources, habitats, and sportsmen’s access.
Travis was born and raised in Greensboro, NC, and earned a BA in Journalism from UNC Chapel Hill and an MBA at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. He lives in Raleigh with his wife (Dorothy), daughter (Weston) and dog (Burger). Outside of work, Travis enjoys traveling to see live music, checking out baseball stadiums, and exploring trails with his family.
